SRINAGAR: The Schwarzman Scholars programme by Tsinghua University, Beijing in China is accepting applications for the academic year 2026-27.
This is a fully funded scholarship for students pursuing a one-year master’s degree in Global Affairs. The last date for submission of the application is September 10, 2025, for international students.
The programme combines academic learning with practical exposure to China’s global role through seminars, mentorship and field study. The scholarship covers tuition fees, stipend, accommodation, meals, course materials, health insurance, in-country study tours, and a round-trip airfare. There is no application fee.
Candidates from any country, including both international and Chinese citizens are eligible to apply. Students must have completed a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent professional degree in any academic field by August 2026 and must be between 18 and 28 years old at the time of enrollment. Candidates who are not English native speakers must submit valid English proficiency scores such as TOEFL or IELTS. Moreover, this requirement is waived for applicants from English-medium institutions.
The documents required include two essays, statement of purpose, three recommendation letters, online application form, a two-pager resume, academic transcripts and a video introduction.
